To BEDCL Members,

On behalf of the BEDCL Board, we would like to take a moment to recognize a wonderful example of honesty, integrity, and sportsmanship within our league.

Recently, one of our BEDCL players came across a wallet that had been misplaced by another BEDCL player. Rather than simply handing it in or leaving it for someone else to deal with, the player took the initiative to track down the rightful owner and personally ensure that the wallet was safely returned.

While this may seem like a simple gesture, the effort and willingness to go the extra mile to help a fellow BEDCL member truly deserves recognition.

At BEDCL, we believe that cricket is about more than what happens on the field. The values of honesty, respect, sportsmanship, and looking out for one another are an important part of the community we are building together.

We reached out to the player to express our appreciation and asked if we could share their name and this story with the league. In keeping with their wishes, we will respect their privacy and keep their name anonymous.

We wanted to share this story with all BEDCL members because acts of kindness and integrity like this deserve to be recognized and celebrated. We hope this serves as a reminder that each of us has an opportunity to make a positive difference within our cricket community—both on and off the field.

Thank you to this anonymous BEDCL member for setting a wonderful example of sportsmanship and community spirit.

On behalf of the BEDCL Board, thank you for going above and beyond to help a fellow player. Your actions are truly appreciated.

Regards,
BEDCL Board
