This notification is a second and final follow-up on Written Acknowledgment of Sanctions for non-usage of provided facilities (eg. for nature's call).
Firstly, we would like to express my gratitude to the clubs that have promptly responded and provided their support for this initiative. Your commitment to upholding the values of sportsmanship and maintaining discipline in our league is commendable. However, we are still waiting on few clubs that have not submitted their written acknowledgments. Therefore, effective from June 19th, any club that has not submitted the required written acknowledgment will have their games suspended until the acknowledgment is received. This decision has been made in the best interest of preserving the integrity and reputation of the BEDCL.
We understand that some clubs may have concerns or questions regarding the implementation of this policy. However, we must emphasize that there is no negotiation in this matter. The policy has been proposed and approved by the BEDCL Board members as a means to deter public urination offenses and maintain a high standard of conduct among players. We firmly believe that by taking this decisive action, we will foster an environment that upholds the values of sportsmanship and professionalism. We kindly request all remaining clubs to submit their written acknowledgments to secretary@bedcl.ca as soon as possible to avoid any disruption to their scheduled matches.
Thank you again for your attention, and we look forward to receiving the outstanding written acknowledgments at the earliest.
Regards,
BEDCL Board
